Happy Imbolc or St. Brigid's Day, which is the traditional Keltic festival marking the beginning of spring.  In keeping with the season, we are offering an amazing variety of Super Saved Seeds harvested at Luckyfarm77 last year in 2023.  All seeds are for sale at the Sointula Resource Centre's Market Garden Stand.  Happy gardening everyone!

We have the following seed packages in colourful envelopes all for $4/each.  Each package contains at least 50 seeds or 1 gram of lots of tiny seeds.  All seeds were harvested in the fall of 2023 at Luckyfarm77 and tested for germination in the beginning of 2024.  We'll also be adding other plant seeds soon!

Teenie weenies! Very old and rare North American Heirloom. Prolific. Clusters of tiny red, pear shaped gems!

Tomato - Red Roma – ‘Principe Borghese’

Bushy 2 foot plants that produce lots of smallish, meaty, oval fruits. Nice!

Tomato - Yellow Cherry – ‘School Bus’

Lots and lots of bright yellow globes!  Yum!! In greenhouse can climb to 12 feet!

Tomato  - Red Classic– ‘Linda’s Lovelies’

Medium sized, meaty and Juicy!! Vine climbs to 6 feet in greenhouse.  We’ve saved, grown and enjoyed this favourite for over a decade.

Mustard Greens – Giant Red

Japanese heirloom. Give your salads a snappy spicy flavour! Slow to bolt.

Mustard Greens – Mizuna Red Streaks

Frilly dark green with burgundy streaks. Mild peppery flavour.

Celery

Who doesn’t love celery? Pick individual stalks and the plant keeps giving all summer long and into winter months. 

Romaine Lettuce

Upright heads with thick crisp green leaves.  Caesar Salad here we come! 

Now is the time to get your tomato plants started indoors for planting into your greenhouse.   We like to start our lettuce greens inside to plant outside once the daytime temperature reaches about 10 C.
